Boracay Never fails to AMAZE me (Day 1)

I’d been here six times! Yet, Boracay never fails to amaze me J

Boracay is a paradise that everyone should never fail to pay a visit. Although, you must really save money for the trip as grand vacation requires.

Going there:   “A quick way of going to Boracay is via air travel. And since Boracay doesn't have its own airport as the island size won't permit; tourists can choose landing to Aklan or Caticlan Airports[.....]

The choice to fly would entails draining a few more money from your pockets; since airfare is relatively expensive than tickets for ferry. Airfare's average cost would be two thousand pesos. So if you have plans of going to Boracay, buy your tickets when airfare promos are available. There are multitudes of promos offered a year-round by Cebu Pacific, PAL, Zest Air and Airphils for Manila-Kalibo and Manila-Caticlan flights.” ~ taken at Besties on the Go

This trip was for FREE this time :) The Affiliate Asia teambuilding was organized to be held in Boracay for the second time. We bought our plane tickets when there was an airfare promo of Cebu Pacific. We opted to fly via Manila to Caticlan which is the shortest route going to Boracay. However, going back entails flying from Kalibo airport back to Manila. Blame it on the “too-high” a price for airfare traversing Caticlan-Manila route.

For a group of 20; we got a cheaper transfer deals that cost us less than a thousand peso back and forth, all included.

We reached Caticlan Jetty Port in less than an hour from Manila. The Jetty Port changed a lot the last time I went to Boracay. It is more organize now and promises a high-class service.

We checked-in at Boracay Holiday hotel. The hotel is situated near the public roads; d’talipapa where it has its own an access at the back door; and a 3 to 5 min walk to the WHITE BEACH!

The amenities of Boracay Holiday showcase a CLASS A accommodation. We got the 3 apartments where 6-8 pax can be comfortably accommodated in one apartment. Each apartment has 2 big rooms with a receiving and kitchen areas.

Boracay Holiday hotel has its own swimming pool with bar that operates at night. The only downside of this hotel is the hard bed. Otherwise, everything that this hotel offers is what we need.

We just placed our things inside our rooms and prepared for late lunch. We found a good place for lunch at Regency Hotel where MESA restaurant is located. The menus are great but expect a higher price for this fine dining should you want a luxurious meals at hand J Kudos to our Boss who shouldered the bills as we had our delectable dishes to indulge in J We also planned our next activities here.

We went back to our hotel to tidy-up and to prepare for our next plan, feel the white sand and drink ‘til we drop at night.

Inhale, exhale.. Cams clicking everywhere.. trying to capture the beauty of Boracay.

At night, we talked; played and drink in Epic. Epic bar is famous on their alcohol mixes. But, we enjoyed their bathrooms air-conditioning more than ever.. hahaha

We decided to continue drinking at the pool in our hotel. We bought our drinks and enjoyed the plunge in the pool. Usually, the hotel closes the pool area at 10pm; but, for us they let us enjoy it until 12am the following day.

We call it a night and dozed-off.

(to be continued here :P)
